artist Ellen Fairbairn

Ellen is a Melbourne-based artist who approaches installation
and sculpture through drawing. recent exhibitions include
There’s A Reason Some Things Are on Postcards, at Punk Cafe,
A gift means a gap between two people, at Bus Projects,
and You’ve Been Here Before at Visual Bulk in Hobart
(both with Amy Parker and Amber Wright).

she studied Sculpture and Spatial Practice at VCA and
currently works facilitating art classes for young people.
